Dear Georgetown Students,
Welcome to Spring 2025!
I’m excited to greet each of you as we kick off a new semester filled with opportunities for learning, growth, and achievement. Below, you’ll find key information to help you get started, along with important registration details and resources to ensure a smooth and successful academic experience.
The academic calendar may be found on the Registrar’s website at https://registrar.georgetown.edu/academic-calendar. Click here to review the multi-year main campus academic calendar.
Registration Resources:
- GUExperience: The official student academic information portal where you can login using your NetId and password to register, waitlist/add/drop classes, view your grades, request a transcript, view your degree audit, and so much more. User guides and videos are available on the Registrar’s website.
- NetID: For help or questions about your NetID and password contact the UIS Service Center at help@georgetown.edu or visit the UIS Service Desk in the Leavey Center Bookstore.
- OUR Website: includes all important registration dates.
- Waitlist: The automatic waitlist is closed. Any remaining open seats are available for students to add in GU Experience until the last day of add/drop, Friday, January 17; provided they meet the course prerequisites and any restrictions.
- Schedule of Classes: View the Schedule of Classes site for class offerings, syllabi and a list of required and recommended books.
- Course Materials: Information on required textbooks and recommended course materials are available through the “View Textbook” link on the Schedule of Classes website so students can make informed decisions about their courses. Once you are registered for a course, you have the option of ordering the books from the Bookstore through GUExperience.
- Withdrawal/Refunds: For withdrawal and refund information, visit the Withdrawal & Refund Schedule site.
- The Student Services Center website and knowledge articles offer online solutions to many student inquiries and our office on the ground floor of White Gravenor provides a one-stop shop for all your Enrollment, Financial Aid and Student Accounts needs. Use the Student Services Center Request Form for any queries.
- Accessibility Resources: Visit the Accessibility at Georgetown website to learn about the resources available to students that help make our classrooms, campus and the student experience more inclusive and accessible. For example, Georgetown has updated the institutional default setting for Zoom to allow community members to more easily enable automated captions. The Zoom automated captions page includes instruction and more information.
