GU Experience Overload (OVLD) and Less Than Full-Time (LTFT) Automation

Highlights Developed in close collaboration with University Information Services (UIS), the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) Dean’s Office, and other school partners, we aunched new automated workflows to streamline how students request to take a course Overload (OVLD) or study Less Than Full-Time (LTFT).

This automation addresses a significant manual processing gap by shifting these approvals from a paper or manual email process into the Ellucian Intelligent Processes (EIP) workflow engine.

Students now have the ability to submit their requests digitally, which automatically routes through the appropriate decanal and advising review channels.

Administrators and advisors benefit from reduced manual data entry, as the approved forms securely and automatically update the student’s record directly within Banner, ensuring accurate tuition assessment and credit limits.

Project Timeline April 2026 – OVLD and LTFT automated EIP forms officially launched
