Non-compliant Students Enrolled for Summer 2022

Dear Summer Enrolled Student,
You have been withdrawn from all Summer 2022 classes because you did not submit documentation showing that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or request an exemption or an extension by the deadline. As a result, there is a hold on your record and you will be placed on an administrative leave of absence beginning with the Summer 2022 semester. This action has been taken to protect the health and safety of the Georgetown community.
The deadline to submit vaccination documentation to attend Summer Session classes has passed. The University sent multiple reminders that shared the consequences of noncompliance.
Students who do not fulfill the COVID-19 vaccination requirement will be officially dropped from all courses, placed on an immediate leave of absence and receive a 100% tuition refund for this semester. Once placed on leave, the University cannot guarantee the student’s class schedule, should they be allowed to re-enroll. Students will have a maximum of two years from the date of leave to request reinstatement at the University per the reinstatement guidelines for their applicable school; after that time, the student will be withdrawn from the University unless an extension of leave is approved.
If you have any concerns or believe this action was taken in error, please contact your academic advisor or program director immediately. The deadline for any appeal of this action is 5 p.m. ET, Thursday, June 9, 2022.
Sincerely,
Annamarie Bianco
Associate Vice President and University Registrar
