Capitol Campus Coding

Highlights: To support Georgetown University’s expanding footprint, we are updating the student information system to accurately code and track academic activity at the new Capitol Campus. Administrators will be able to seamlessly assign courses, programs, and student campus to this specific location.

This infrastructure update addresses a critical administrative need, which is to improve reporting, financial modeling, and space utilization metrics for programs operating and students taking classes downtown.

Students will benefit from clearer location indicators when registering for classes in GU Experience, ensuring they know exactly where their courses are held.

Project Timeline: Fall 2025 – Capitol Campus coding implemented in the student information system
