Online FERPA Training Course

Highlights The Office of the University Registrar implemented Everfi to deliver mandatory Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) training to university faculty and staff.

This digital training module addressed a critical compliance need by establishing a standardized, university-wide curriculum to ensure all employees understand their legal responsibilities regarding the protection and privacy of sensitive student records.

Faculty and staff had the ability to complete the required training asynchronously online, providing a flexible learning experience while allowing the university to track completions for auditing purposes.

(Note: This platform successfully served the University through January 2023, when we migrated to Vector Solutions, which remained in place until its integration into the centralized GMS Learning platform in 2026.)
