Summer 2026 Registration Opens Monday

Make the most of your time here at Georgetown and spend your summer with us!

Summer registration opens in GU Experience* on Monday, February 2 at 9 AM EST and remains open up until each summer session’s start date. 

Summer is the perfect time to progress towards your degree, learn a new language, take advanced courses or focus on a particular topic without juggling a full course-load. Choose from over 250 undergraduate and graduate, on-campus and online credit courses. The Summer Sessions Academic Calendar lists the seven different session dates and important deadlines, and all summer 2026 course offerings can be found on the Summer Schedule of Classes.

If you need academic advising or guidance on what courses to take, please contact your academic advisor or dean. Academic advisors and deans reserve the right to adjust your summer schedule and drop your enrollment from a course.

*Please note: Registration for future semesters with an unpaid balance from the current semester is not allowed. Students who register for summer courses and have an unpaid account balance as of the end of March (regardless of anticipated credits at that time), may have their summer course registration dropped.
