SIS+ Password Creation

Default SIS passwords are composed of the capital letter 'A' followed by the last six digits of your social security number. On first login, you will be prompted to change this password. You must change your password at this time.

The password must:

• be 8 characters long (not shorter or longer);
• contain at least one numeric character;
• contain at least one alphabetic character;
• contain a national character (@,$,#) between the first and last position. For example BIG1$RED or 1$AM@ME4. You can have a national character in the first or last position but it must also be in between the first and last position.

• contain the first four character of the users name and equal the USERID;
• be too similar to the previous password;
• be the same as the previous 3 passwords;
• be part of the restricted word list. Words like HOYA, 1789, LEAVEY, HEALY, etc are in the restricted list.
