Waitlist Instructions

Using Access+, students may add to a course (if it is open) or drop a course. If the course is closed, students may join a waitlist for it. When space becomes available in a course with a waitlist, a waitlist lottery will run each night during Registration Add/Drop to determine who has won the space. Preference is given to waitlisted seniors, majors, and those whom the professor identifies as regularly attending class. Winners will receive an email from the University Registrar with instructions to claim spaces through Access+ within 24 hours. After 24 hours, non-responsive students will lose their space.

Faculty members reserve the right to reject waitlist winners who have not attended classes or otherwise communicated with the faculty member.
