Mission
The mission of the Data Warehousing and Reporting User Group (DW&RUGS) is to collegially identify and resolve reporting and other information access issues important to accomplishing the work of the University. It seeks to deal successfully with both macro information policy issues and micro technological issues. It pursues both by meeting periodically to educate itself on current advances in information access technology, to review and discuss information access problems emerging within the university community and to develop strategies for the problems’ resolution. In particular, it pursues technical issues related to its daily work by collaboration on its web site and listserv. Its members are encouraged to focus on and give their individual attention to those issues of greatest importance to their work and to themselves.
