Students may obtain a letter of certification of their enrollment from the University Registrar. Please use this form to request certification.
Eligible for Certification
- The University Registrar is unable to certify enrollment if a student is an incoming first-year or transfer student until registration has been completed. Instead, we may write a letter of acceptance.
- We may write a letter of pre-registration once a student has pre-registered. This letter is only valid for pre-registration and not for students currently enrolled for the upcoming semester.
- We may certify past enrollment but not beyond the current semester. An expected date of graduation can be stated.
Ineligible for Certification
- The University Registrar is unable to write letters of good standing. Please see your Dean.
- Information concerning tuition payments, cash, etc., must be directed to Student Accounts.
- Information concerning non-credit enrollment must be directed to the School of Continuing Studies or the Center for Professional Development.

Status
| Undergraduate 12 Credits = Full-Time 9 Credits = ¾ Time 6 Credits = ½ Time 3 Credits = Less than Half-Time |
Graduate 9 Credits = Full-Time 6-8 Credits = ½ Time 3 Credits = Less than Half-Time |
Summer Status
Undergraduate students will be considered full-time when enrolled
for 6 or more credits in any session. Graduate students will
be considered full-time when enrolled for 4 or more credits in
any session. Enrollment
in more than one session may be combined to reach the total.
