FERPA and Directory Information
Under the provisions of the Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, students have the right
to instruct the University to withhold “directory information” excepting name,
school and dates of attendance. View Disclosure
of Student Information for more information.
Language Classes
Language classes below 215 may not be
taken pass/fail.
Mailing Addresses
It is the responsibility of each student to
confirm with Access+ their
academic and biographic data with the University Registrar. Local

all materials will be sent to the permanent address. Email addresses
are becoming increasingly important in contacting students with time-sensitive
information. Email routing (to non-Georgetown addresses) can be
updated here.
Service Learning Credit
Program | Website
The Service
Learning Credit Program recognizes
that work in the community on behalf of those in need can serve as
an excellent complement to regular course work. Georgetown

Studies, and
McDonough
School of Business offer
the Service Learning Credit Program in selected courses with the
approval of
the dean,

Credit may be added if the student agrees to become involved in social
justice related community service projects and follows a service-learning
agreement. Arrangements for the Service Learning Credit must
be completed when the term begins. For more information, contact
the Center
for Social Justice.
