Dining Services | Website
Freshmen and sophmores who live in residence halls are required to buy at least a 14 meal plan. Other students may select the plan of your choice through Access+. Upper class students will be allowed one day to cancel and receive a 100% refund on their Plan. Starting the second day, (beginning August 30, 2007 for the Fall semester and Jan. 10, 2008 for the Spring semester) refunds will be granted on a pro-rated schedule based on the number of days a student was enrolled in the Plan. Changes to your board plan must be made within the first two weeks of the semester.

FERPA and Directory Information
Under the provisions of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, students have the right to instruct the University to withhold “directory information” excepting name, school and dates of attendance. View Disclosure of Student Information for more information.

Language Classes
Language classes below 215 may not be taken pass/fail.

Mailing Addresses
It is the responsibility of each student to confirm with Access+ their academic and biographic data with the University Registrar. Local addresses will be used for regular student mailings. If no local or billing address is indicated in the student record, all materials will be sent to the permanent address. Email addresses are becoming increasingly important in contacting students with time-sensitive information. Email routing (to non-Georgetown addresses) can be updated here.

Service Learning Credit Program | Website
The Service Learning Credit Program recognizes that work in the community on behalf of those in need can serve as an excellent complement to regular course work. Georgetown College, School of Nursing & Health Studies, and McDonough School of Business offer the Service Learning Credit Program in selected courses with the approval of the dean, faculty member and the director of the Center for Social Justice. The Service Learning Credit may be added if the student agrees to become involved in social justice related community service projects and follows a service-learning agreement. Arrangements for the Service Learning Credit must be completed when the term begins. For more information, contact the Center for Social Justice.
